The Butterfly Effect

ABOUT LIVIA
Transformation begins within, unfolds with intention, and blooms into strength.
MEET THE FOUNDER, LIVIA MEDVID
My commitment to supporting children and young adults began early. All through high school, college, and law school, I volunteered in pediatric hospitals, orphanages, and programs for teens — experiences that grounded me in empathy and resilience. That early calling now threads through my work as a coach, mother, and founder of The Butterfly Effect.
My path has always been rooted in the art and science of nourishment. Trained at Le Cordon Bleu and later advancing my studies in Food Science at Harvard, I discovered how deeply food connects to both body and mind. That foundation led me to expand my expertise into psychology and neuroscience at Yale, Cambridge, and the University of Chicago, where I explored how the brain, resilience, and emotions shape human transformation.
Today, The Butterfly Effect brings these threads together — neuroscience, nutrition, and emotional intelligence woven into a compassionate, practical framework. As a mother of two girls (ages 8 and 14), I combine academic excellence with lived experience, helping families protect their inner world, heal from what’s been broken, and thrive with clarity, confidence, and independence.
